Barbara Grant is a founding partner of Cardenas Grant Communications, leading business development, client relations, media buying and communications strategy.

Barbara brings more than 30 years of experience using communications to advance business solutions, with a specialty in reaching African American, Hispanic and Asian communities. Her client work has included Ameristar Casinos, United Negro College Fund, Edison Learning, the City of Philadelphia, National Conference of African Americans and AIDS, Pennsylvania Coalition of Charter Schools, Free Library of Philadelphia, Nielsen Media Research and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Children's Health Insurance Program.

Before starting Cardenas Grant, Barbara was Director of Communications for the Mayor of Philadelphia and, earlier, Director of Communications for the School District of Philadelphia. She built her advertising, communications and media-relations expertise during 15 years as an award-winning television reporter, producer and news manager.
